INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This Information Notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) titled “Obligation of the Data Controller to Inform” and the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.” TTNET A.Ş. (“TTNET”), as the data controller, takes all necessary technical and administrative measures using technological and infrastructural capabilities to ensure the secure storage and lawful processing of personal data within the framework of the Law and relevant legislation.

Personal data is processed by TTNET in accordance with the Law and related legislation under this Information Notice. Real persons whose personal data are processed under the Law can review the text below to learn about the personal data that may be processed by TTNET, the purposes of processing, the recipient groups to whom data may be transferred, the method of data collection, the legal basis for processing, and their rights under the Law.

1. PERSONAL DATA BEING PROCESSED

Personal data refers to all kinds of information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. The personal data listed below may vary depending on the individual’s requests and/or the products/services used, and may include:

  • Identity Information: Name, surname, Turkish ID number, place and date of birth

  • Contact Information: Phone number, email address, and physical address

  • Traffic Data: IP address information

  • Financial and Risk Data: Purchase history

2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be processed in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law and secondary regulations for the following purposes:

  • Establishment, delivery, and continuation of company services

  • Provision of customer services, handling of requests/complaints

  • Conducting surveys/analyses/statistics to improve service quality and measure customer satisfaction

  • Offering reward/draw/competition/gift/celebration/reminder activities aimed at customer satisfaction

  • Preparing, offering, promoting, tracking, and reporting campaigns and offers based on customer use

  • Notifying customers of new products/services, campaigns/tariffs, recovery of inactive customers

  • Sharing information/documents requested by regulatory bodies or authorities

  • Fulfilling legal obligations, audits, legal follow-ups, and legal processes

3. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be shared with the following third parties within the framework of the relevant legal provisions regarding domestic and international data transfers:

  • With your explicit consent, your subscription, location, and usage data may be shared with Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş., TT Mobil, TT Ödeme, TTES Elektrik, and TT Finansman to offer suitable services.

  • In compliance with regulatory authorities' requests, with relevant public institutions, especially for location determination in emergency calls.

  • With banks, financial institutions, law firms, municipalities, partners, and suppliers to prevent fraud and carry out critical communications.

  • With law firms, courts, and consumer arbitration boards for legal proceedings.

4. METHODS AND LEGAL GROUNDS FOR DATA COLLECTION

Your personal data may be collected through authorized representatives, business partners, dealers, our website, call centers, and mobile applications depending on the nature of the service or product.

Your personal data is collected at the start and during your legal relationship with TTNET via:

  • Electronic platforms

  • The purposes listed above

  • Legal grounds provided under Articles 5, 6, and 8 of the Law

Legal bases include:

  • Your explicit consent

  • Legal obligations under relevant regulations including:

    • Electronic Communications Law No. 5809

    • Regulation on Processing and Protection of Personal Data in the Electronic Communications Sector

    • Consumer Rights Regulation in the Electronic Communications Sector

    • Law on the Protection of Competition No. 4054

    • Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563

    • Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages

    • Consumer Protection Law No. 6502

    • Tax Procedure Law No. 213

    • Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098

  • Necessity of data processing for the establishment or performance of a contract

  • Fulfilling legal obligations

  • Data made public by the data subject

  • Necessity for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal rights

  • Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the company, provided it does not harm fundamental rights and freedoms

  • In cases of actual impossibility, processing is necessary to protect life or bodily integrity where consent cannot be obtained

5. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

According to Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed

  • Request information if your personal data has been processed

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with that purpose

  • Know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred domestically or abroad

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law

  • Request that corrections or deletions be notified to third parties to whom your data was transferred

  • Object to decisions made solely through automated systems that may negatively affect you

  • Request compensation for damages caused by unlawful data processing

To exercise your rights, you may:

  • Send your request via mail (with identity verification) or notary to the address below, or

  • Use your registered email (KEP), verified email address in our system, secure electronic signature, or mobile signature and contact us via the contact information below.

Your request will be accepted following identity verification and finalized within 30 days based on the nature of your request.
